#1- Health care reform, although I personally believe we needed a public option to keep the insurance companies (read: big business) more honest. #1a- unlike the medicare drug plan Bush championed, Obama paid for #1. #2- Bailed out GM and Chrysler. To let them fail would have put a huge burden on the gov't because we would have had to pick up the tab for all those pensions. #3- picked an extremely competant individual as his point man in the Gulf. #4- attempted to help small business by using excess TARP funds, but of course, the GOP stonewalled his attempt. I thought they were friends of business? #5- in spite of people claiming otherwise, he has done nothing to take away our personal freedoms. #6- he's not Hillary Clinton- if you recall, she was an eyelash away from the Presidency.Now there's a liberal! McCain couldn't have won if he ran unopposed, after the absolute mess that Bush/Cheney left us.
