Mr. Mayor:

To clear the air, I seriously, seriously think you should call up Chief
Williams and ask that she follow up and initiate a criminal investigation,
either by her department or the FDLE.

This smells of a cover-up to some sectors of Venice.

Mr. Tacy made a serious allegation, in writing, on a City of Venice
communication. Now he appears to be backing off, and some are painting it
out that he is being bullied into doing so. This is not good and would tend
to go against the open government style that you vocally adhere to.

Again, I would urge you to call Chief Williams and ask that the allegation
be properly investigated. This is not grandstanding or PR stuff, this is
serious open government stuff.
