I don't think the mayor will waste his time with a slanderous has-been like Tacy. Tacy knows he's out after the next election, and he reminds me of a Kamikaze pilot who knows the war is lost but wants to take as many down with him as he can.. But just maybe Tacy is enjoying all the press attention since no one else but hungry reporters give a hoot about him. I think the best defense against Tacy now is to just hit the "ignore" button. After the next election, he'll roll out to pasture and no one will care or even notice he's gone. What a loser.
