I read this weekend story in the Gondolier and was glad to read something positive about one of our city department heads. I can only wish that every city administrative person would follow the mantra of Police Chief Julie Williams, apparently a true professional, and importantly, a person who truly cares about her employees. From what I know the story is accurate. I spoke to police department employees and she has their support ... Good for you Police Chief Julie Williams. Now, can you get your message across to the ego-maniacs in city hall administration? One can only hope that the ego maniacs realize that good and dedicated employees are the back bone of city services. What more can I say?
